UTM Builder
Paste a link, add your campaign details, and get a clean tracked URL you can drop into any ad, email, or post. Your recent links stay saved in this browser, so repeat campaigns take seconds.
How it works
UTM parameters are short tags added to the end of a URL. When someone clicks the link, your analytics tool reads the tags and records exactly which campaign, platform, and ad sent that visitor. Without them, a sale from a Facebook ad and a sale from an email look identical in your reports — both just show up as traffic.
This builder handles the fiddly parts for you. Values are automatically lowercased and spaces become underscores, because "Winter Sale" and "winter_sale" would otherwise split into two separate campaigns in Google Analytics. If your base link already has old UTM tags on it, they are stripped and replaced, never duplicated. Only the fields you fill in get added, and a source is the one field a tracked link cannot do without.
Quick answers
Which fields are required? Just the source. Medium and campaign make reports far more useful, so we recommend filling all three for every paid link you run.
Is my data sent anywhere? No. The builder runs entirely in your browser, and the recent-links list is stored on your own device. Prefer working inside Chrome? The free DigiHustle UTM Builder extension does the same job from your toolbar.
What naming style should I use? Pick one pattern and never change it: lowercase, underscores instead of spaces, and the same source names everywhere. Consistency is what makes month-to-month comparisons possible.
